You get what you get and you don't throw a fit!

"While on vacation with my family, my 4 year old grandson Rankin said this when someone was upset because they didn't get what they want. It has stuck with me when I don't always get what I want. We need to be content with what we get and be thankful."

Facts are not feelings and feelings are not facts!

"This motto reminds me to look at decisions and situations rationally. It's easy to let an emotional response cloud our judgement so when I'm faced with a difficult or complicated situation, I think of this motto and try to separate the facts from the feelings and make my decision. This really helps during an argument!"
