"I sometimes have the habit of comparing my life to others. Whether it's that my friends went on a wonderful vacation, someone I know bought a new home or whatever. I need to learn to be happy with what I have. And to remember that I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful healthy boy."

"I read this years ago while I was struggling as a single parent. Then and now, it helps me to redirect my thinking when I feel that the load is getting too heavy to bear."

"This motto reminds me of how much I mean to my husband of almost 31 years. I know that I am lucky to have someone who cherishes me the way he does."

"This motto means everything to me. I have it in my kitchen and I read it everyday. It reminds me to appreciate the people and things in my life. I am divorced and work full-time with a son at home. I work in a factory up to 65 hours a week to provide for my son and myself. The housework sometimes has to wait for the weekends. I live in a house that was built sometime in the early 1820's so something is always going wrong. Now that I make the bacon, fry it in a pan and wash it - it is hard sometimes for me to be both a man and a woman. It reminds me that even though we don't have what some may call a "perfect" life - we are happy. Truly happy."
