Last year, my tomatoes lacked flavor. How can I make them tastier this year?
Try throwing a handful or two of crumbled eggshells into the bottom of the hole before planting your tomatoes. Tomatoes need calcium to produce the oils that give them a yummy taste, and eggshells are rich in easily absorbable calcium. If your plants are already in the ground, mix the same amount of shells into the soil around each plant's base.
