When you reach this stage, your capacity to experience joy is compromised, since you're essentially worrying all the time, says Wehrenberg.
Quash It: Make a list of all your concerns, then, addressing them one by one, ask yourself, "What might I do to remedy the situation?" Write down the solutions you come up with -- concrete plans make vague, free-floating fears seem more manageable.
