1. It’s not just calories you’re counting.
“I read the nutritional information on every label to make sure that I get a balance of nutrients every day — usually 20 grams or less of fat and about 30 grams of fiber. I also try to get no more than half my calories from carbs daily.”

2. Clean out cravings.
“When I feel like snacking, I call a friend, make a cup of tea or start cleaning to distract myself. I just clean out a drawer or a closet to keep my mind off of food until the feeling passes.”

3. Prep for workouts.
“I actually sleep in my workout clothes, so I’m ready to go in the morning! I also pack my breakfast, lunch and snacks the night before to keep myself on track.”
