1. Its not just calories youre counting.
I read the nutritional information on every label to make sure that I get a balance of nutrients every day usually 20 grams or less of fat and about 30 grams of fiber. I also try to get no more than half my calories from carbs daily.
2. Clean out cravings.
When I feel like snacking, I call a friend, make a cup of tea or start cleaning to distract myself. I just clean out a drawer or a closet to keep my mind off of food until the feeling passes.
3. Prep for workouts.
I actually sleep in my workout clothes, so Im ready to go in the morning! I also pack my breakfast, lunch and snacks the night before to keep myself on track.
