If Im really hungry, I load up on greens. I buy salad in a bag, and add some balsamic vinegar and maybe a dash of olive oil.
Best cure for a sweet tooth:
Sugar-free Popsicles only have about 15 calories each. I can have a few and kill the craving for dessert.
Best afternoon pick-me-up:
I always keep almonds on hand. They are a good source of protein (which Im always trying to get more of) and a way to beat the afternoon blahs.
Best low-cal dinner options:
Here is the recipe I use for dinner most nights: Grab a frozen dinner out of the freezer and pop it in the microwave, jokes Debby. But youve always got to read the labels to make sure they are low-calorie. I try to keep my entrée between 250 and 300 calories, then I add fruit and a small mixed-green salad.
