of healthy foods, my family and a picture of
a model with a terrific body," says Melodie.
"It did wonders when I felt down."
Expand your horizons
"My motto: Never say no try it once,"
says Melodie. "I had to step out of my comfort zone and try foods that I never ate before like fruits and vegetables and I discovered that I actually liked them!"
Take baby steps
Don't get caught up in all-or-nothing thinking, says Cruise. "Set small goals, then reward yourself for every 5 lbs. lost with fun, nonfood treats like a new lipstick or a massage."
