My grandfather, a psychologist, was presented with this music box by a patient. It plays Do You Remember and the underside is marked United Features © Syndicate 1968/Made in Italy by ANRI. Is it wishful thinking, or could this trinket have more than sentimental value?

Your music box features Lucy Van Pelt, a character from Charles Schulzs Peanuts, the comic strip that ran from 1950 to 2000. Its one of thousands of pieces of Peanuts memorabilia designed during that time and was made by the Italian company ANRI. The Lucy music box is a fairly common one. While there is some demand for Peanuts memorabilia, its mostly in Japan, and the character theyre most interested in is Snoopy. Still, examples like yours do sell regularly between $85 and $100 (plus shipping) on eBay; I hope thats music to your ears!
