What's the best way to clean up tiny pieces of broken glass?
Strange but true: A slice of bread is a great tool for picking up tiny shards of glass. First, remove the larger pieces of glass by hand and dispose of them in a paper bag (rather than a plastic one). Gently press the bread down on the remaining shards to pick up the tiny pieces, and then toss it into the paper bag. Give the area a once-over with the vacuum, and you're set.
