During the next snowfall, approach your neighbor while you're both outside shoveling. In a friendly tone, say, "I've noticed that the snow you've shoveled sometimes falls onto our area. Is there a way we can work together to make sure neither of our walkways gets blocked? I don't want my family to slip and fall," suggests Sue Fox, author of Etiquette for Dummies. "The trick is not to show anger or accuse him of wrongdoing."
