Whats the best way to get grass stains out of white leather cleats?
Treating the shoes with a harsh solvent could dry out the leather, causing it to crack. Instead, start by sponging the spots with water. Next, pour molasses (believe it or not!) onto the stains and let it sit overnight, says Linda Cobb, star of the DIY Network show Talking Dirty With the Queen of Clean. The sulfur in the molasses gently eats away the plant stains. In the morning, rinse the cleats in water to remove the syrup.
