What's the secret to getting out mustard stains?
While there's no foolproof method, you'll have a better shot if you work fast. As soon as you notice the stain, grab a spoon or dull knife and gently scrape off as much of the mustard as possible. Then promptly rinse the spot from the back with cold water and apply liquid detergent to the stain, rubbing vigorously in circles. Let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse and repeat until you can't lift any more mustard. Apply a stain remover like Shout and launder as usual. If the stain remains, try spot-treating with all-fabric bleach.
