Bow Tie Sausage Soup

1 pound(s) Italian pork sausage, casings removed
1 medium onion
1 garlic clove
6 cup(s) chicken broth
2.5 cup(s) bow tie pasta
1 can(s) (15-oz.) tomato sauce
1 tablespoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon(s) dried basil
1 teaspoon(s) dried thyme

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine Italian pork sausage, chopped onion and chopped garlic clove in a large, heavy pot; cook until sausage is brown, about 7 minutes, breaking up sausage with wooden spoon. Drain off fat.
  2. Stir in chicken broth, bow tie pasta, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and basil and thyme.
  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 15 minutes, or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve with crusty bread.
